A lot of people do not even know about this regroove mixer. But maybe you are like me and you never used it. But I think it is time to bring it to your attention. The regroove mixer is not only to create «3597-slow», «1797-slow» or «3597-fast» etc. you can also use it to create a «slow», «medium» or «fast» pitch over a whole track. This is done by clicking on the master effect bar and then selecting the «Send to regroove» button. This keep the «send to » effect but don't have any effect on what «send to» is. In the «send to» part of the «master effect» you can select the regroove mixer to create «slow», «medium» or «fast» pitch over the whole track. You can either press the scratch pad area to create a new line a new regroove line or you can use the MIDI control wheel to lock the pitch. The whole process is described by a VST plug-in called «PitchMaker» built by Propellerheads themselves and which you can obtain for free at the Propellerheads Library. You can select from matrix, octave or regroove in the «regroove effect» part of the «master effects». The next part is «regroove fader» number, which controls the master effect... or you can also say layer effect. This «regroove fader» also gives you the possibility to create ranges to «regroove». Both «matrix fader» and «regroove fader» you can control within the «master effects» in the sequencer. So in the picture below you see how the «channel fader» is selected and you can control it in the «master effects» panel. And the final part is the «master gain». Here we can control the output from the regroove mixer which is then sent to the sequencer.
