Any idea why the printer is not recognized by Windows even though it is a Linux OS and I tried plugging in my cable the right way (like the manual says), and it is on the same switch as the computer. It is also a network printer? Could it be that it's not set to shared correctly? Also, is it a HP or Brother (the manual doesn't say it either way)
after installing the HX driver downloaded from HP, Windows sees the printer but the drivers doesn't appear in the list of installed drivers. Only HX driver is available. Where should i go to troubleshoot this?

My windows give error "windows failed to start". from heared some one said to install driver supplied by hp, but when i tried installing my hp is not appearing in the list of installed drivers. Hera Pheri is one of my all time favourite comedy movie, all the characters and their dialogues are still remembered especially Paresh Rawal's role Baburao Ganpatrao Apte (one of the most highlighted characters of the movie) and the dialogues are really catchy "Khopdi tor saale ka", Kutria saala dekh ke number dial kar", "Aurat ka chakkar Babubhaiya", "Yeh Baburao ka style hai" "Khadak Singh ke kharak ne se", "Kabira speaking" and many more. Akshay Kumar is great, Sunil Shetty is also great and Paresh Rawal steals the show and the rest of the supporting casts are good too. The songs are good, screenplay is good, storyline is good and mostly direction is also good.
