I have a 2011 AutoCad LT stand-alone single user perpetual license. It's old, but it works perfectly for my purposes. I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 (since support is ending for 7). After the update, AutoCad LT is saying that I have to "repair" my license or I can run the program for 7 days until it expires. When I go to "repair", it tries to reactivate using the previous activation code which returns with an error 400. It looks I need a new activation code, however, when I tried to "request an activation code" on the Autodesk website, my serial number is not recognized. I tried to send them a message and even that doesn't seem to go through. I can't find a 1-800 number I can call. If someone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Acad LT 2011 doesn't work under Win 10 and Win 10 already has demonstrated it breaks the licensing mechanism for these legacy Autodesk product. You should've stayed with Win 7. Chat with Autodesk here -support/installation-activation
Older software like LT2011 are not available as downloads from Autodesk: where is your backup of the original download or the original disk? Do you treat $1000 investments so lightly often? I'm curious if perhaps a $15 external disk drive is all you need to invest it if you still have disks.

I have a user that had AutoCAD LT 2008 and upgraded to 2011. His computer has been giving him problems so we are upgrading him to a new system and trying to reinstall his AutoCAD LT software on his new laptop. When I try to export the license from the old laptop I get an "Export Request Failed - The serial number you entered is not valid. Try again (1) Click the "Try Again" link to resubmit the request. Try again Error Reference 1."
That being said I just looked at your case. One of the most common issues of the invalid serial number error is actually due to a license that has been upgraded to a newer version per a subscription contract that has since expired. This would not prevent an existing activation form working properly, but any new activation and/or license transfer attempts with the old license would fail. In your case, the 2011 license was indeed upgraded to AutoCAD LT 2012. I'm going to send you a Private Message shortly with the relevant license info and download links.
